A cease and desist should be written to be professional. It should look like, 'I am a lawyer who has all the cards,' not, 'I am a child who is having having a tantrum.' And this comes off as a tantrum. When you have the aces, you don't sit there raging out. You just sit there with a calm, quiet smile and you lay out why the other side is going to lose. And that's not what's going on here. If I was getting a letter like this from a lawyer, I'd be wondering 'What exactly is happening?'
