I would really like to see how the court would handle the admission of a live alligator into evidence and the jury's inspection. Unfortunately for me - and for the prosecution - the report says the alligator was released back into the wild. That means (a) the prosecution probably can't carry its burden to prove the deadliness of this particular alligator when thrown through a drive-through window, and, more importantly, (b) I'm not going to get to see a trial with a live alligator in evidence.

That cathartic propaganda you enjoyed turned away the minds you want to change. The only people who read past the first paragraphs where those who already agreed with it. That's why objectivity and balance matter: you can only change minds if the reader trusts you, and actually reads what you write. Like a war correspondent attacking the enemy, partisanship erodes not only trust in your own writing, but contaminates all other journalists covering the same topic.
