I actually have no idea what Tesla is doing. I'm sure it's something stupid, dangerous, and unnecessary. Window punch will work on 99% of side and rear windows. Any good rescue truck will also have glass cutters or a rip saw to get through a laminated window. But again, Tesla does stupid shit, so who the hell knows with these death traps.
